After the demise of Ansett Airlines in 2001 the 'Fox-Lew Tesna' group launched a bid to revive the airline. As part of this process, the syndicate had to ready itself to employ new staff. The website was designed to offer all ex-employees the opportunity to apply for roles in the venture.
